I went to France over the summer and whilst I was there I developed a French and English film-making collaboration. For this production we worked on a very small budget of just 22 euros. Our idea is to work in two countries, providing films that are understood by either the spoken language or subtitles. We have combined our artistic skills and passion to create a concept which we would like to continue on by travelling between the two countries. This is our first video, an interactive horror film with a little touch of humour. The video is shown from the point of view perspective letting the spectator explore and make choices for the character. We have embraced the idea of making the spectator immerse into the character entirely, like a game; allowing you to see through a new pair of eyes.

We created the point of view perspective by attaching a camera to a hat - a very cheap and effective idea. Our footage was filmed upside down so the camera was at the exact point of the eyes, this was obviously very bizarre for the cameraman! In post-production we rotated the video to the correct way.
